| GENERAL PURPOSE: Performs the monitoring, training and technical assistance services related to the Welfare Transition program for our Workforce Development Industry clients. Monitoring includes the programmatic review of our clients’ Welfare Transition programs to ensure compliance with Federal, State and local operating procedures. Position requires an extensive depth of expertise and knowledge of the Welfare Transition program that can be used to provide technical assistance, process reviews, training, compliance monitoring and continuous improvement services to our clients. Additional experience with other workforce programs would be preferred, as well as the desire to expand services offered by TLHW to Workforce Development agencies. |

Independently monitors Welfare Transition case records to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local policies and procedures; analyzes trends, identifies program deficiencies, and makes recommendations for staff training needs; and accurately reports monitoring results. Prepares written report of findings, observations and recommendations for improvement. Percentage of Time 55%.
Performs process reviews and provides technical assistance. Percentage of time 35%.
Develops and conducts training and workshops to assist our clients with continuous improvement efforts. Percentage of time 5%.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Percentage of time 5%.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree and experience in Workforce Development program operations with Welfare Transition Program knowledge is preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Workforce Development program experience with an emphasis on performing programmatic monitoring functions and preparing detailed written reports summarizing the results, and developing customized WTP training.
